Your old PC features a Core i5 650 CPU. The previous motherboard doesn’t support more than 4 GB of RAM, causing a blue screen when exceeding that limit. I can recommend suitable motherboards and GPUs that fit your CPU. Let me know if you'd like those suggestions!

Choose sticks that fit your system—4GB or 2GB single-sided are safe. Avoid 4GB double-sided or 8GB double-sided models. For better performance, consider a GPU with AVX support. Lightweight games would suit you well. Need recommendations?

The CPU performs just as well as it did yesterday, but it lacks popular instruction sets like AVX which could cause performance drops in certain games. It also has only two cores, and H55 boards tend to be expensive because they’re rare. P55 is even pricier since it’s a premium chipset for this socket, leaving you with limited options.
