Mini PCI slot information available online. The plan to upgrade my laptop to a Core 2 Duo T5600 didn't work, so I'm looking into options for improving the network card. Two main concerns: the current speed is only 54 Mbps and it's causing network slowdowns. People seem familiar with these issues—they're likely from China.

Good luck! I'm not familiar with it or have seen it before.

Thanks for the optimism? It’s likely a Chinese listing includes mPCI to mPCIE/M.2 A/E keys.

Directly swapping PCI to PCIe isn't feasible since they use completely different communication standards. While some adapters can bridge the two, moving from PCI to PCIe isn't possible in this manner.

Questioning the capabilities of Chinese technology is frustrating. It seems a 133 MB/s connection could easily upgrade to a 500 MB/s one.

These links should function correctly. One is an eBay product page, the other is a Newegg listing.
