Hi, I was trying to recall a game from my younger days... but the name slipped my mind. I have some details that might help others remember it too. Here’s what I remember: (P.S. I had a demo version, which was similar to the original but with fewer levels). The game focused on fighter planes, not the newer ones. It featured two aircraft: a blue bomber resembling the Douglas SBD Dauntless and a grey/white fighter (the exact name is unclear, but it was a War Thunder Tier 1/2 plane). In the demo, there were three missions: first, basic training and defending your base from enemy bombers; second, destroying an enemy fleet of boats in a lake while facing air attacks; third, a night mission involving a carrier launch and attacking an enemy airbase from the right. Your planes had some WEP, with a gradient indicator in the lower left corner—a basic mechanical wheel that changed from green to red. Upgrades were available after each mission, likely through in-game currency or earnings. I remember upgrading your fighters’ weapons, especially the guns, which looked impressive when firing three on each side. Thanks for your help—I hope someone who played this game knows its title. Appreciate your time!

It seems you're asking about the aircraft model—possibly the Falcon 4.0 or a Sturmovik variant. Could you clarify which version you're referring to? That way I can give you the right details.

It didn't have any modern planes, and I also missed mentioning. I believe the game's story was set in the Pacific Islands... maybe... Nah... close though, it seems similar... kind of.

The sole title I've encountered that fits is Heroes Of The Pacific.

The Japanese aircraft resembled that, and the blue plane wasn't blue in the game—it was white, silver, or gray. Also, I don’t believe you fought against Japanese... or did you? I think you could have picked American and Japanese, but it was locked in the demo.

Upgrading the aircraft gives it a fresh appearance, making it likely the same model. The primary missions you take are in American jets, but once you complete the game, you can switch to Japanese aircraft as well.

I'll give it a shot. Which version are you thinking of—original Heroes of the Pacific or another specific edition? I've reviewed some gameplay clips, but they don't match what I recall. Thanks!

I gave it a shot... but it doesn't feel right. It seems the game might be a bit newer than Heroes Of The Pacific...
