I acquired this chip about a year ago for my brother assuming it would fit his motherboard, but it worked fine yet wouldn’t start. It turns out Intel altered the pin layout on the socket without labels, which is why no warnings appear unless you specifically search for "Intel CPU pinout change." My processor model is INTEL CORE i3-9100F (LGA1151), SRF6N, 3.60GHZ X945H663. I’m not sure if it’s a Coffee Lake chip and prefer purchasing from reputable Australian sellers like PLE Computers. TLDR – need help finding a compatible board and confirming the CPU type.
