The label sysfan 1 in the second image will function correctly. The icons in the picture indicate their proper placement as well.

the plastic of the fan header matches the size of the fan connector i've used before, but it seems not to work. i've tested various connectors and still faced issues. if the header doesn't fit, could you try plugging directly into the psu? maybe a smaller connector would help. thank you for your response.

I'm not very smart, but I looked into everything the motherboard came with and found one of those annoying adapters. Thanks for your effort, but the issue was fixed.
