Hey everyone! My Chrome has been having some issues lately—links aren’t opening, it slows down, and sometimes clicking on a link in Chrome doesn’t work. I was thinking a reinstall might fix it, but I’m worried my saved links could disappear. Writing them down would really help me track what’s missing.

When using Google, it's good to save your bookmarks. Also, consider trying Firefox.

You can save them by moving items from your bookmarks to a folder on your desktop. Restarting the browser shouldn’t erase the files, so this works as a backup. For now, I’d prefer using Firefox or Opera instead.

Considering opera offers a more refined browsing experience, it stands out as a strong alternative. While chrome may appeal to some for its appearance, opera sacrifices customization and extension support. Despite this, opera delivers solid privacy benefits, making it a compelling option for those prioritizing security. I personally lean toward opera—it’s my preferred choice.

I've faced the same issue with Chrome for a while; it seems to resolve after their next update. My browser is now working perfectly.

Export your bookmarks as an HTML file, then reinstall to bring them back. Open the Chrome menu in the toolbar, choose Bookmarks, then Bookmark manager. From there, click Organize, select Export bookmarks, and optionally sync with your Google account for permanent storage.

I highly suggest checking out WhiteHat Aviator lately. It's a tailored version of Chromium that eliminates all remnants of Google's tracking software and adds more tools focused on security and privacy from the start.
