I've been using it for a while now because GeForce Experience is a PoS. I also rely on QuickSync so the encoding processing runs through the iGPU rather than the CPU or GPU handling it: I haven't explored AMD's approach, but I think it's similar to what GeForce Experience offers, so I'm skipping it since OBS works fine.
Now that I have this, I’m able to stop relying on GFX. The main issue is whether it sorts items—since ShadowPlay grouped things by game, which was really helpful.
The small "$T" at the end of my video titles groups them by Year/Month/Day/Hour/Minute-Second. It doesn’t seem to be based on the game itself. I like this format, though I’m not sure if there’s a method to achieve it exactly as you prefer. You can hover your mouse over the text for more details.
It's straightforward if you avoid playing on a PC, so stay neutral or positive and keep it simple. A basic Google search would have prevented this situation.
IGN has recently been found exchanging videos between the console and the PC. The compression quality is so poor it’s difficult to notice the differences. While this might seem minor, over the past year I’ve heard numerous questionable statements from them. As someone who plays consoles, they display many traits of being uninformed users—making a lot of false claims without realizing it.
Get this straight? The point is clear—sharing on PS4 or Fagbox is much smoother. On PC you have to add stream keys, download stuff, and deal with extra steps. With PS4, logging in from Twitch and sharing a game just works perfectly. No complicated settings needed. You can even stream to YouTube from the console too. It’s simple compared to what you’d do on a PC.
Prrtr/The gaming scene has taken a turn for the worse compared to Shadowplay... I haven't played shadowplay, but after spending an hour getting the AMD program to work with Twitch, I discovered a pesky overlay preventing me from using any controls. It took several hours to figure out how to remove it, realizing it was built into the software and can't be disabled during gameplay. Honestly, Shadowplay is the worst. OBS is great!
I noticed that and wow, what a mess. Oh wait, it's IGN—they're all garbage.
