The main goal is to establish a smooth method for playing Minecraft Java Edition save files across multiple computers without relying on a realm, so I can enjoy offline gameplay. I’m open to some unusual approaches, but I’m looking for a practical way to avoid transferring files manually. Below are the devices and tools I’m considering for this task.

Could it be possible to use your laptop while leaving the house? You're looking to enjoy the same game in both your home and on the move without relying on Realms.

When you exit the house, you can link back to it as long as your laptop maintains an internet connection through your home's IP address. (provided the ports are correctly set up on your router)

As long as your connection is strong, running a single player is easy, a few MPGBs will suffice. And if you require assistance with port forwarding, just let me know.

for one-on-one sessions (and if it works on both platforms) you can try teamviewer's point-to-point VPN, which is really dependable.

The vpn would handle the task of securing the connection by encrypting data and masking the user's IP address, ensuring privacy and protection while accessing the internet.
