I noticed the review on gadgetversus. The Snapdragon 855 performs marginally worse than the Intel Core i3 8100. Many people wonder if Snapdragon chips are outpacing recent desktop processors. This gap likely explains why most desktops still use large cabinets, while smartphones have compact designs.

They probably have trouble making a fair comparison since one is a smartphone and the other is a PC.

These results don't fully reflect real-world usage because one device uses ARM architecture and another uses x86. You should use software built for each platform, and emulation would prevent accurate comparisons. So this kind of analysis is mainly for fun right now.

Snapdragon 855 (Galaxy S10 Lite Single core - 706 Multi core - 2407 i3-8100) and other configurations are listed there. Comparing different runs is usually not recommended since scores can be altered. Ideally, results should come from a reliable source that performed the tests themselves on both devices. Geekbench works across platforms and architectures without needing emulation. It has some constraints in its testing, so don't rely on it as a complete performance summary.
