I don't understand what to do next. I attempted to seek assistance on Steam, but it didn't help much. Now I'm reaching out to this community for support. I realized my screenshots looked low quality because I might have left the checkbox unchecked. After double-checking, it still saves them as .jpg instead of .png. I've included a screenshot showing the settings I used and tested twice after confirming the checkbox was on.
I thought the PNG files were in the same directory as the JPG ones, but upon deeper investigation I discovered they’re stored in a separate folder. Appreciate your response!
It's quite an odd choice, right? You don’t need a jpeg if you have a png ready. Probably they think you want one for archiving and another for easier online sharing since most people don’t have the tools to convert images on the go. Honestly, with fast internet, keeping both isn’t necessary and it feels silly to store them in separate places.
