Hello, I purchased a new PC and faced issues with Windows 10 installation. The setup keeps showing a blue screen, updating the BIOS didn’t help, and even after removing the battery for 15 minutes, the PC remains in a black screen while the case lights up and fans spin. The motherboard is missing—specifically the MSI Tomahawk Z690 DDR4. What should I do? Thank you.

I saved the BIOS update file from that website, https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-Z690...R4/support. Attempted to change the Flash setting on the BIOS interface.

I have Windows 10 installed on an SSD drive. I used this drive for updating the BIOS. When trying to install a new Windows 10 on the M.2 SSD, the installer kept showing a blue screen error. They suggested updating the BIOS and tried again, but then the motherboard disappeared. Apologies for the unclear writing.

Do you have another PC and a flash drive available? The motherboard includes a Flash BIOS button on its back where your I/O connections are situated. Inserting a flash drive into the correct USB port (if needed) should re-flash the BIOS. However, you must first transfer the BIOS file to the flash drive before proceeding.

The motherboard includes a specific USB port for the Flash BIOS operation. Make sure to utilize that port for the feature to activate. A screenshot from the manual illustrates this.
