You're experiencing problems with Windows 10 where the login screen appears but nothing else shows, followed by a black screen and sometimes a Frap message. Norton alerts you about background tasks, but pressing Control+Alt+Del doesn't help. After checking GPU drivers, using iGPU didn't resolve it. Safe Mode with CMD worked for one user, but your other account remains unresponsive.

Could you clarify if you're asking about removing files from the Program Files directory?

No, I didn't retain your previous files or configurations during the upgrade.

It was just a standard upgrade, running smoothly on Windows 8.1. Files are working properly.

Do you have several displays? Yes, if so, disconnect and check functionality.

I followed your instructions but then I turned off my TV (which was linked via HDMI) and now everything functions properly since it was set to the default expand screen.

As mentioned earlier, the other account you made functions properly, but you’d like to regain your own account.
