It adjusts the refresh rate automatically to align with frames per second, eliminating tearing. This means you don’t need a higher FPS than the actual Hz value. If your G-Sync settings are incorrect, your range might not match your needs.

I adjusted the frame rate cap to 90 and the small screen tearing persists slightly but is less obvious now.

Ensure G-Sync is activated in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Set the monitor to 100Hz. Turn off Fast Startup in Windows and restart the computer.
