Gsync also limits your frames, that’s the main issue, not sure why there’s such a big gap between 240 fps and around 267 fps... one will run smoothly, the other will hover near 267 fps. (*Of course not every game supports that since it’s neither a priority for developers nor popular among players). Personally, I stick to Vsync at 60fps or 120fps... Gsync feels too choppy to me, I hate those sudden changes in frame rate, which is exactly what Gsync does. The delay is insane.*

'Vsync' locks your frame rate to your monitor's refresh speed, whether it's 60, 144, or another rate. When paired with buffering, it keeps things in sync but introduces a slight delay. 'Fast Sync' lets your frame rate exceed your monitor's native rate while still keeping GPU and display alignment, but it mainly works in windowed mode and isn't supported by all games. You usually need to turn it on in Windows and turn it off when using windowed or borderless modes. Fast Sync doesn't instantly boost frames; it makes each frame run as quickly as possible up to whatever limit you set, then drops the rest below your display's refresh rate, creating a smoother feel without adding much latency compared to Vsync. Other options like Variable Refresh (Freesync/Gsync) adjust your monitor's refresh to match the GPU's output, staying within the display's limits.
