I’m experiencing screen tearing, and it began after resetting my PC. Despite having a capable system – including a GTX 1080 Ti – I’m now encountering this issue, which wasn't present before. Even when capping my FPS at 144Hz (my monitor’s refresh rate), the tearing persists and is noticeably worse. I understand G-Sync functionality, but it’s not relevant as I never experienced this problem previously. Enabling Vsync in global settings helps with most games, yet it doesn't resolve the tearing in League of Legends. I suspect a driver issue or some other configuration change occurred during the reset. My system includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB hard drive. I recently upgraded from a GTX 1080 to a 1080 Ti, and the tearing issue appeared after that upgrade as well. I’m running Windows 10 Pro 1909 and require assistance troubleshooting this frustrating problem.
