I've been using my PC for a month now. The monitor sometimes goes black and shows "no display." Restarting the computer fixes it. This usually happens when playing games. I can play games for hours without issues, but it randomly occurs. What might be causing this problem? I'm using DisplayPort on an Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard with a 750W Corsair CX Xfx r9 380 2GB Hyper 212 EVO power supply.

Same issue occurred, replaced VGA cable with HDMI and display restored.

I'd look into the Event Viewer for any video driver crash logs. This suggests a GPU problem like overheating, driver issues, or an incorrect overclock if you applied one.

Are you asking about the origin of the device—whether it was crafted by you or comes ready-made?

I don't have any overclocking capability, but I can help you with instructions or troubleshooting if you're working on one yourself.

Clear CMOS to see if it fixes the problem. Also test with a different cable, as it could be defective.

I didn't overclock it, but I can give it another shot.

I've faced the same issue before, until last week, and discovered it's not related to my computer but to the power supply at home.
