I've been working on this for three weeks. I've reached out to multiple Discord groups and subreddits for advice, but nothing has really helped. I'm unsure why I haven't posted here yet. My system runs a 12700F with an ASRock Z790 Steel Legend WiFi board, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB DDR5-7200 (F5-7200J3445G16GX2-TZ5RS). It also uses an INNO3D 4070Ti Super Twin OC White and my old Gainward 2080 Phoenix GS. I've tried various fixes, but nothing resolved the issues. After a reboot, I faced problems booting Windows 10, with VGA and BOOT QLEDs displaying for 70 seconds before the process started. Drivers disappeared, and some programs stopped working. Updating helped temporarily, but certain software still had issues. I reinstalled Windows after backing up files, which improved things significantly. Then I installed all updates, drivers, and software, followed by stress tests and fan adjustments. Eventually, I installed AssettoCorsa, Content Manager, and steering wheel drivers, but the PC would freeze on the "Rebooting" screen and later display infinite loading circles. I tried resetting the CMOS, updating BIOS, using Windows 11, 10, and 21H2, even running Memtest86+, but nothing resolved the problem. I'm starting to suspect a hardware issue, possibly with the motherboard, and no one else seems to have a solution. I've contacted ASRock and the seller for help, but it's been a week. I'm also considering exchanging my board."
I mentioned trying my RTX 2080 instead of the RTX 4070Ti Super, but it didn’t make a difference. This issue persists regardless of the storage device used—whether it’s a USB drive or an SSD. I test each drive individually, leaving all others disconnected. Still, switching drives doesn’t seem to resolve the problem.
Yeah, but I did a BIOS update, which should fix any corrupted BIOS right? Unless the hardware is damaged, in which case I have the replace the motherboard. But, that's what I'm currently thinking. (unfortunately) It's most likely the motherboard, that's why I'm trying to get it exchanged. But I'm still trying to find a solution while waiting for a response. And yeah the CPU is an option too, but it's much less likely and if it is broken, I don't think I can exchange it, I would simply have ti buy a new one.
