I assembled a new PC to verify compatibility. My estimated power draw is 677 watts, so I selected an 850-watt PSU. The GPU was a 4070 Ti and it worked when placed outside the case after assembly. The next day it stopped working, showing static on the monitor. I tested various display cables and PCIe connectors that fit the PSU, but none resolved the issue. I tried connecting a different 1080 and it worked again, but I’m still facing the same problem. I updated the BIOS, though I’m unsure if that fixed the issue or if another component is faulty.
