Attempted various fixes: removed cable, used DDU driver once, adjusted custom resolution in Radeon settings. Also tried uninstalling the Windows monitor driver and checking Radeon additional settings. Issue started after an RSR update for the Radeon control panel. Any advice? Even basic steps helped!

Purchase a fresh display. The Spoiler Fr might work, but custom resolution tools seem to only function with Intel IGPs.

Issue remained until I switched the HDMI cable. Possibly your graphics card can't support more than 60Hz. Review all output types of your graphics card and test with DisplayPort—it should work well if it's at least 1.2×DP. It's also possible your monitor operates at 60Hz. Please share your monitor model and GPU details.

Tried HDMI and Display Port, but when opening Windows the only setting available is 60hz. Updated: previously worked with HDMI, so I confirmed it shouldn’t be the problem.

Check the display details—it supports speeds above 60Hz only on certain older 4:3 screens.

ASUS RX 6600 XT supports dual overclocking with options for 1920x1200 at 64Hz or lower resolutions, but the choice down to 720p is removed in Windows. I even attempted 800x600, but only 60Hz appears listed.

No, the ATIKMdag Patcher was not used to remove the pixel clock limits.
