Simple Screen Recprder isn't providing updates anymore, unclear reason, no modifications. I use Kazam in Mint, but Solus has a different package version if you don't have apt-get.

OBS is noy starting also. https://itsfoss.com/kazam-screen-recorder/ was good in Mint, surely there is a way to get the binery downloaded in Solus.
