Good afternoon, I'm facing a tough situation. After upgrading from the 2070 Super to the 3080, everything started working properly at first. I planned to install the latest driver using Gefore, but it crashed right after the installation. The screen went black instantly, and even after waiting 5-10 minutes, nothing changed. I performed a hard reset, but nothing happened. When I switched back to the original model, the issue disappeared completely—no screen, no BIOS, and even the keyboard lights stopped working. Since it's an AMD system without integrated graphics, I can't enter safe mode. Any advice would be invaluable.
Verify debug LEDs for guidance. Then consider resetting CMOS using a button, jumper, or by disconnecting power, draining capacitors, and removing the battery for a minute before reinserting. If this doesn't resolve the issue, inspect all connections—especially non-essential parts like case fans and storage—and attempt to boot without them to identify any changes.
I also upgraded my power supply and installed an SSD SATA. I verified the debug light and confirmed the red CPU was active. I inspected and reinserted the CPU power connector from both sides, and it worked perfectly. Thanks!
