, New here with a few questions about your setup. Linus seems to really like yall, so I hope you’ll find some guidance and advice. Your issue is this: when you enable HDR in Windows, the TV screen goes black and the audio becomes choppy. Once you turn it off, you notice tiny dots appear everywhere on the display, similar to static but layered over your desktop. Everything was fine before, but now it started happening again. Your issue is this: when you enable HDR in Windows, the TV screen goes black and the audio becomes choppy. Help would be really appreciated ♥
Avoid using the driver file. Suggested steps: Get the newest driver from Nvidia, stop all internet access, restart in safe mode, delete the Nvidia driver with a utility, restart back to normal, then reconnect the internet.
Attempting this now. Just waiting on driver to download. Will report back shortly thank you.
Sure thing! Here’s a revised version of your message:
Hey there! No problem at all—I'm here to help. These situations often arise when display issues stem from driver problems. Sometimes files might get damaged or replaced during an update, which can be one of the causes. I perform this process a couple of times a year, even without any issues, just to ensure a fresh driver install. It only takes about five minutes and it’s much better than dealing with driver-related problems. I really prefer clean installations. Thanks!
