I was playing Black ops 6 and for some reason it had to optimize shaders, and when I pressed the restart to update button it blue screened. I haven’t had any issues in the past month. Temperatures were normal under a stress test. I ran an OC power test where it was drawing a lot of power but held steady. Could this be a one-time event? No overclocking was done, just the default profile and stock bios that came with board Version 2301 5/22/24.

That's reasonable, I checked the Event Viewer and found a hypervisor error prior to the crash. Should I consider updating the BIOS?

I would not take any action at this time. Keep observing the situation before proceeding. Making changes without clear reasons could add more issues, complicating the troubleshooting process.

the message on the blue screen reads a stop code:xxxxx. we need this information to identify the issue. next time, we should attempt to capture it with an external camera.
