Screen goes black and flickers during window resizing with hardware graphics support.
Today my laptop began to flicker or show graphical issues whenever I resize, especially when switching between apps that rely on hardware graphics, like MS Office, Firefox, Discord, etc. I haven’t made any major changes to my settings or updated the graphics drivers. I’ve tried several fixes: turning off hardware graphics acceleration in the app settings helped, but it’s not a permanent solution since I’d need to adjust every program. Removing both integrated and dedicated graphics drivers also resolved the issue, though reinstalling them didn’t. Disabling hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the settings app didn’t work either. The problem continues with a new user account. It’s unclear if Linux is affected, but this is really frustrating.
