Hey there, just built my own PC and installed Windows. I only changed a few settings in the BIOS like enabling D.O.C.P. After that, I activated Windows, downloaded updates, and rebooted. It kept showing the rog splash screen and pressing F2 or Del didn’t work. After a day, I finally got into the BIOS but found an error about storage being in RAID, which caused problems. When I checked, there was no RAID setup and only one M.2 drive. Everything worked fine when shutting down and starting up, but it failed again after updating Windows and rebooting. Any thoughts on what’s going on? Thanks for the support! Love this community.
I left it there for about every 5 to 10 minutes, it restarts but keeps showing the ROG splash screen. I updated the BIOS to the newest release and it didn’t change. Here’s what I have: my setup includes an ASUS ROG B-550 F Gaming (Wi-Fi) with a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, an ASUS RTX3070 GPU, and a Kingston NV1 NVMe M.2 1TB SSD. I attached a photo of the PC and the boot screen. The image on the machine shows a green light above the RAM, which matches the manual’s success boot indication.
I think I fixed the problem. The PCIe to USB-C header card helped stop the system from booting. Regarding BIOS settings, is there a way to adjust something there to avoid this issue? My case uses a Type C front I/O, but the board doesn’t have a Type C port.
