Hi, I'm having this weird issue, that I didn't have before. I'm using this setup for over 2 years now and some flickering started to occur. I've uploaded a video of it. Fortunately both my GPU and monitor should still be covered by warranty, but I'm not sure which one is causing the issue, or if it is a cable issue. I'm using the display port cable, that came with the monitor (Gigabyte G32QC-A) and a Radeon 6800XT from Sapphire. The issue doesn't appear always and when it does, it only flickers when there is a content update on the screen (moved my mouse, a video is playing, etc.) When the image on the screen does not change, it doesn't flicker. After it flickers for a few seconds or minutes, it stops and sometimes starts again in a few minutes, but sometimes it doesn't flicker for hours. I've tried recording the issue with OBS, when the flicker was more persistent, to see if the flicker is seen on the recording, but when I'm recording, the issue just stops at the moment I hit record. When I hit stop, it immediately started flickering again. Does anyone have a similar experience? 20231004_100403.mp4

Have you explored these options: 1. Varying DP cables 2. Changing the DP port on the GPU side 3. Using another DP port on the monitor side if available 4. Switching to an HDMI cable 5. Trying a different screen—do you have a spare monitor or even a TV? 6. Do you own an Intel or AMD CPU with integrated graphics? If not, do you have another GPU that can be used as a replacement? 7. Are your GPU drivers current 8. Is your BIOS updated 9. Have you recently installed a fresh version of Windows (it may cause some minor discomfort but will clear any software/driver problems) C

Hi, your post has been shared on Reddit, and it looks like this problem might be affecting several users, mainly beginning last week. It seems likely it's related to a driver issue. Here are the key points:

1. Only one DP cable is present; I didn’t purchase another until confirmation of the problem.
2. The DP port on the GPU was changed about an hour ago, but I haven’t used the monitor with that setup since then.
3. The system has only one DP port and two HDMI ports available.
4. I haven’t tested HDMI connections, as my desktop-to-monitor link is a bit more complex (first changing the DP port, then downgrading the driver, then swapping monitors).
5. Referencing answer 4: I’m using a 5800X GPU, so no integrated graphics.
6. I always keep my drivers updated. The issue started in an older version; recently I installed a new release, but it’s unclear if that worsened or resolved it.
7. I’m cautious about BIOS updates and haven’t tried them recently.
8. This is the final attempt before considering an RMA, as I’ve tried everything else.
9. Please let me know if this helps clarify your situation.
