Hey guys im back with more problems for you. So here's the deal my sisters desktop is starting to act up with 3 blue screens in 3 days. In the 1º one i wasn't home so i don't know the error code, the 2º the code was a 0x0000007E and the 3º was a 0x0000003B. I have already done some research on the codes and it looks like a dying hard drive but i would like othe opinions. The os is a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits.

Marcus Kemp - the temperatures are fine since she cleaned the dust about two to three months back, plus she doesn't use any other apps except Facebook and similar. The RAM is two sticks from Samsung at 667 MHz, part number M378B5673EH1_CH9

This seems puzzling since you've only experienced a blue screen due to overheating, not memory issues.

The machine is about three to four years old and has never been changed, so these compatibility problems are unexpected.
