Recently I upgraded to a 3060ti replacing a 5700xt that I used DDU, cleaned everything, and installed the latest driver. However, with certain resins and the Steam wallpaper engine I encountered a blue screen. I’m unsure what caused it, but next time I’ll take a screenshot. Usually my PC restarts and works fine afterward. I play all games on high/ultra settings without issues, though I noticed lag spikes with the wallpaper engine. I’m wondering if the GPU or driver is the issue, or if something else happened before this model. Thank you and let me know if you can help.
It seems the problem lies with the wallpaper engine rather than the GPU. Have you tried removing the wallpaper engine to check if it resolves the issue? If not, uninstalling and then reinstalling might help, as it can be a bit unstable when changing hardware.
I've removed it and haven't reinstalled it, just a bit nervous about it. lol
