So ive had kubuntu installed on my L440 now for a while, but i havent been able to fix the screen tearing. Its really bad and i wanna try to remove as much of it as possible. I found this youtube video, the only problem is that there are no file called "xorg.conf.d" in the "X11" folder. What do i do now then? It doesnt let me create a new folder there, and if i do manage to create one will it work? I think i got kubuntu version 18.10. Right now it got an i5 4300m in it with Intel HD grapichs 4600, and 8gb ram. Are there any other way of reducing screen tearing? Thanks..
