About five days ago I started experiencing strange problems while playing Fallout 76 and Fallout 4. My screen would flash black unexpectedly, like I was pressing the Alt key while playing. This only occurs with these two titles right now. I’ve also been playing No Man’s Sky, Metro Exodus Enhanced, Age of Empires 2 and a few others, but not these games.
I’ve updated my Windows, reinstalled the GPU drivers (can’t revert them), and plan to test more games tomorrow. My RAM, CPU (Ryzen 3900x), and GPU stress tests all passed without issues. The only change in the past five days was switching from an Xbox Series X Elite controller to a standard Xbox One controller, as the Elite model had a malfunction.
