The setup includes a Ryzen 5600X3D, an RX 7600XT for video output, and an Asus TUF motherboard (details not specified). Performance is lagging compared to a slow 2005 Windows laptop, and the screen shows unusual distortion—like CRT scan lines on a LCD. The mouse also behaves oddly. A video file is attached; it appears to have recovered unexpectedly.

Could be a graphics driver problem.

Upgrade the GPU drivers and use a monitor capable of 144Hz. Your current 60Hz screen is connected to a 144Hz card, or adjust settings to align with your display. Dust from the mouse laser should be cleared, and a multi-color mouse pad performs better!
