The top of my screen keeps flashing when I use my computer. I've shared a video demonstrating the problem. I've gone through standard fixes—switched cables, updated drivers, rolled back to an older version—but nothing worked. The only workaround that helped was lowering the monitor's refresh rate from 144Hz to 60Hz, which stopped the flickering but isn't ideal. My model is an Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q with an RTX 3070 GPU. Any suggestions would be appreciated! IMG_3768.MOV
The problem seems to stem from a faulty monitor. If adjusting the refresh rate resolved it, drivers aren't the cause. Try connecting your PC to a different monitor with a higher refresh rate to check if the issue continues, or plug another device with a high-refresh display into the monitor to see if it persists.
