Computer starts up into BIOS but the screen remains off. Everything appears normal when booting from Windows, though Bluetooth headphones still connect as if it were running Windows. I've tried resetting it several times without success. The display is backlit and signals are present, yet it shows nothing. I'm worried about this being a new setup and need it working for work tomorrow. Please help me out.

Resolved the issue by avoiding the identical old hard drive. This prevented a kernel panic since it was from a different, older computer.
