most of the setup involves an HP Z640 with 64GB RAM, two Intel Xeons, and a Nvidia Quadro K2200 connected through DisplayPort to an Asus monitor. The screen displays a post-boot message, but when the display refreshes to show Windows 11, the system reports a "no display port signal." I've tried resetting the hardware, changing the GPU display mode, and using keyboard shortcuts like Win + Ctrl + Shift + B for driver refresh. Recently, static flashes appeared on the post screen when using a second GPU port.
It might be a RAM problem. The memory could be damaged or not connected correctly. I used two RAM modules, one working and one faulty. I kept the faulty one in my PC, but it didn’t progress past the boot screen. Consider running MemTest86 to check your RAM.
Incorrect RAM parts may cause the GPU to stop working, resulting in no video display.
I recently reinstalled Windows 11 to explore Linux advancements and had to repartition my drives since Windows was consuming all available space. About a week ago, I reinstalled it and everything is working smoothly. I made sure to reinstall all drivers and verified everything. I believe the support isn't currently available.
It seems Win 11 isn't fully compatible with dual booting, possibly due to changes on the disk. I think your Linux version is older and Win 11 runs as a UEFI setup. I tried enabling both legacy and UEFI, but Secure Boot needs to be turned off while still allowing Win 11 to work.
All those options were enabled, just like I mentioned I switched back to Windows. The Linux version was temporary and disappeared now. I needed extra space on the USB drive for Linux so I could test new gaming features and compatibility with other applications. [EDIT]: I mistakenly formatted the wrong drive initially because it was my Windows boot drive, so I ended up formatting both each time anyway. Reset your TPM because you're no longer using Linux. Switch to UEFI only, as Windows isn't managing the boot disk properly now. It seems the system needs a reset of the UEFI settings. Try booting without the disk, turn it off, and then attempt to start with the disk installed.
