Screen always loops in blue when using XMP settings.
I recently assembled this system and equipped it with an R7 2700 processor, which led me to believe AMD prioritizes rapid RAM. I purchased a 2x8GB kit at 3600MHz, configured XMP and "Profile 1" to reach that speed. However, the crash loop only occurs when enabling XMP and using "Profile 1," and I recall it was linked to insufficient power. The specs list a 3600MHz model, but the RAM is actually 2666MHz despite those claims.
Open your motherboard's BIOS and verify the RAM is configured for 1.35 volts. I experienced a similar problem with random BSODs, which likely stemmed from insufficient voltage. Increasing the RAM speed to 3600 MHz might have led to instability due to higher power demands. Let me know if this assists.
Selecting Profile 1 triggers 1.35v operation; to boost performance at 2133mhz consider adjusting settings or optimizing frequency.
Increase the RAM speed manually or use the best available profile. If it's currently at 2133MHz, verify proper startup.
it starts up correctly at 2133mhz (Auto), but changing the profile to 3600mhz and trying the constant bluscreen didn’t work. I’m considering 2933mhz as a possible alternative, though it seems there’s no obvious way to adjust it manually based on what I’ve seen.
It's about the RAM speed. There needs to be an advanced settings menu for adjusting it.
