So I recently pushed my GPU (R9 270X Dual-X) to higher clock speeds—from 1070 to 1100 and from 1400 to 1500—and increased the memory clock to 1500. I’m not very experienced with hardware tweaks, but I wanted to check how much of an impact this had.
I ran some Furmark tests to measure the results. The first one with 1100 and 1500 gave me a score around 2250. The next test with 1070 and 1400 scored about 2550. I did more tests with different overclocks, but my scores never matched what I got without overclocking. Some people mentioned it was related to power, but I’m still new to this stuff.
Is this actually a problem? Is the score drop real? And if so, how far should I push it? Should I increase the power limit percentage?

Furmark often faces TDP throttling limits. Increasing your power cap might boost scores, but only if your cooling/fan setup is effective enough to prevent thermal throttling. Do you know how much you should raise the power limit for your current specs of 1100 cclock and 1500 mclock?
