Hello, I recently upgraded to a 7800X3D in an MSI X670E Tomahawk Wifi with the newest BIOS. My typical Cinebench R23 score is around 15500-16000 when I run it with high priority in Task Manager. This performance is significantly lower than the 18000+ I see online and in reviews. For cooling, I use a Noctua NH-D15, which stays between 72-80°C during games and drops to about 62-65°C in R23 (which feels a bit chilly for multi-core stress tests). In-game performance only reaches roughly 4.6-4.7Ghz. The unusual part is that my initial Cinebench R23 result was a normal 17300, despite the low score. I've experimented with various settings: adjusting PBO, trying MSI's Enhanced mode 4 and mode 3, using curve optimizer, etc. Checked BIOS and Windows for eco mode issues, but found nothing. Reinstalled chipset drivers and turned off Expo (a post suggested it might help). My PC specs include a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI X670E Tomahawk Wifi, Noctua NH-D15, RTX 3080Ti, FE Corsair RM750, Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000mhz, CL30, and Expo. I’m not sure what else I can try, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
