Hey, your 5950x only is struggling with multicore performance while single-core scores look okay. The CPU seems stuck around 3500MHz across all cores, drawing about 125W from the package power. It’s pulling energy but not reaching optimal speeds. You mentioned it might be related to BIOS settings, and after checking online solutions and trying other fixes, you haven’t seen improvement. I’m guessing the RAM configuration could be the issue—removing the RAM might help if you take it out. If anyone has experience with this setup, any tips would be appreciated. You probably won’t achieve top results unless those features are turned on. If they’re off, the processor will restrict performance to meet thermal constraints.

This setting actually reduces performance instead of improving it, especially on AMD systems. You’ll likely end up with about 25% less speed compared to the average 30% gain you expect. It might help to reset your CMOS or check BIOS configurations that could be interfering.

In R23 In cinebench 2024 my scores ranged from 1200 to 67 on single-core, which is lower than what I see online. Using pbo settings brings results closer to 1600, while without it they sit between 1450 and 1500. If I try it now, I expect a boost to about 4.4–4.5 across all cores, with everything working smoothly.

Lack of Windows, that's okay. Interestingly, it handles up to 6 threads smoothly, but performance drops to 4.4GHz at 8-10 threads. Around 12 threads it hits 4.3GHz, 14 threads reach 4.1-4.2GHz, and 16-18 threads stabilize at 4GHz.
