Scores are very low on the 3090ti and 5900x models.

So not sure whats going on, but I have been getting horrible benchmark scores on Time Spy and Userbenchmark: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/96525754? https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/62493361 These were running with MSI afterburner at 106% power limit, 90C temp limit, and core clock set to CURVE, and +200 to memory clock Its not like the computer doesnt run, but its clear something isnt working right. I just bought a new m.2 to try a fresh install of windows on (really dont want to have to reinstall everything but trying it out) Im at a total loss on what to do. From what I can tell, things are setup right, but i notice in a lot of areas its underpreforming
I just tried DDU again and reinstalled the drivers, but the results were almost identical. My score falls in the bottom 8% of users with similar hardware, which makes me wonder if I’m doing something incorrect. I’m sure I’m in a better category, but it seems like performance is lagging.
I configured the curve accordingly. Your time spy score is lower than my 6800XT on stock settings. Note that your CPU score in Time Spy is also quite low—almost 13,000 with a 5800X3D would give you at least that, possibly up to 15k. It might be throttling or your RAM is unstable or improperly set up, causing underperformance.
Check if you're running the newest BIOS, GPU vBios, and fresh chipset drivers from AMD. Avoid using MBO manufacturer drivers.
Yea this is exactly why Im relatively sure something is wrong. I have gone through several setup guides for my cpu, and as far as I can tell I have the settings right
Two points to note: The CPU in Ryzen Master indicates "Manual OC." It’s unclear what changes you made in BIOS, but you can always reset to default settings, then enable PBO and XMP while leaving other options unchanged. After that, restart and boot.
For a clean Windows reinstall without redownloading, you can repair system files as if performing a fresh install. This approach keeps your installed programs intact and removes viruses or problematic files. The advantage is simplicity and no loss of applications. Download the Windows Media Creation Tool, create an ISO, mount it, run the setup, and follow the prompts. Inspecting what stays will trigger the update process. It should take roughly 30 minutes once the PC finishes reinstalling the files.
Curve was configured using MSI auto OC since manual attempts didn’t yield satisfactory outcomes. I decided to use their built-in solution instead.
The gaming experience seems smooth and responsive. I’m not focused on official scores unless there are visible problems in gameplay.
It's odd, not quite terrible but about 10% below what I'd expect. I'm usually smooth at 4K, but I struggle to hit consistent 60fps even with lower settings. It feels like occasional big drops—like the minimum frame rate—and other unpredictable issues. It's not always running at the absolute highest, but it seems too slow for some reason, and it's tough to pinpoint exactly why.
