Hello everyone, I successfully installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my machine and everything is functioning properly, except for the task scheduler which displays an error: “MMC could not create the snap-in”. I looked up online solutions and found several guides, mostly matching what’s listed on this site. I attempted to fix it by editing the registry, turning on the .NET framework, renaming mmc.exe, running DISM (error code 87), using the system file checker in cmd.exe, disabling and removing the NVIDIA video driver for the GTX 970 graphics card, and installing the latest Microsoft updates. Still nothing resolved the issue. The scheduler remains stuck and shows the same MMC error. Have others faced this problem? Do you know any way to resolve it? Some sources suggest the error could stem from a missing or incorrect video driver. This seems likely, especially since there are functional drivers available for integrated Ryzen CPUs, but not for the 5600G. You can check https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/soluti...iver/34203 for more details. Before installing, I added drivers and updates to the Win7 Pro ISO with NTLite to help the setup process. The system includes a B550 motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600G, Samsung 980 SSD, and a GeForce GTX 970 GPU.

Due to your concern, you chose to set up Windows 7 in 2022 without any updates—it’s not safe to link it to the internet. Concerning your issue, I noticed a problem where my task scheduler only runs one executable at startup, even though several should be launched (such as Windows 10 and a first-gen Ryzen system).
