I enjoy a good challenge and love immersive survival experiences. The Outlast series, Resident Evil 7, and similar titles really capture that vibe. I was quite disappointed when Silent Hills got canceled. Looking for more visually striking games to enhance the realism would be great!

Consider playing Alien: Isolation if you haven’t yet! Another excellent title to check out is Friday the 13th.

Alien Isolation seemed a bit awkward at first, so I might give it another shot. Also, is Friday the 13th just about multiplayer without any story?

Realism isn't the only factor in scary or horror games. STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl with the Stalker Complete mod offers great ambient sounds, lighting, shadows, and weather effects that can create an unsettling atmosphere. Even without realistic graphics in 2017, players can feel immersed and experience moments of fear. SOMA focuses more on storytelling than horror, but it still delivers chilling scenes when you're fully engaged. If you don't expect a horror experience, it can be quite enjoyable. The final Resident Evil entry has some scary elements, though I find it too unrealistic and reliant on clichés, making it less appealing to me. Personally, Dead Space isn't my favorite because of its overuse of jump scares and predictable tension.

Many are commenting, though I’m unsure—I don’t really get why PS1/PS2 graphics aren’t as impressive these days.

Was geht denn los? Die Grafik ist wirklich gut, ich würde das nicht mit einem PS1 oder 2 vergleichen, und die PC-Version läuft ziemlich gut.
