This is outside my usual comfort zone, to be honest.
But I’m not entirely sure that "fe" means the keyboard should retry data when it doesn’t receive an acknowledgment.
It seems more like a prompt for the system to re-send information if needed.
Keep in mind that the scancode being discussed relates to a communication protocol (Section 1.2).
I reviewed the other sections linked through the contents.
