I purchased a new SSD and performed a fresh Windows 7 installation. Everything proceeded smoothly, but I’m unable to connect to the internet. My motherboard lacks built-in Wi-Fi, and the wireless adapter is a TP-Link Archer T4U. I lost the driver disk, so I can’t use it to download the internet connection. Using another hard drive with the driver installed let me access the internet. I attempted to download the driver from the TP-Link site onto a USB stick, then transferred it to the SSD, but it still wasn’t found. I’m stuck on getting the drivers onto the SSD. Anyone have suggestions?

Yes, you can connect via an Ethernet cable directly.

Incorrect steps were taken. Access the device manager, locate the wireless adapter, right-click and choose "update driver software." Then select "browse my computer for driver software" and point it to the driver file stored on the SSD. The installation should now complete.
