Hello, I need to take a break from my Windows PC because it's been giving me too many errors. The NVIDIA Performance Overlay isn't working, Blender is crashing, and my drive is full with unnecessary files. When I search for "reset" and follow the steps, I find out that even after selecting "keep personal data," everything gets deleted. I recently installed new games like Jedi: Fallen Order and don’t want to lose all my progress. I have two questions: Can I upload all my games to the cloud so I can access them after resetting? Or is there a way to retain some files during the reset process? Thanks!

Launch CMD with admin privileges.
Type "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and press Enter.
Once complete, run "sfc -scannow" to check and fix any damaged system files.
Note: This process was tested on a personal machine, so results may vary.

Other titles that use Steam Cloud or Epic’s platform typically already contain the newest files, ensuring the cloud information is included during reinstallation.

Yeah, but I'm not sure if Jedi: Fallen Order supports it. Because it says it downloaded locally and I can't find a way to upload it.

I haven't downloaded anything yet. Could you tell me which platform you used to get it?

To locate game save files, launch File Explorer and type "%appdata%" into the address bar. This will direct you to your appdata/roaming directory, though you can also navigate back to appdata/local folders. You'll be able to identify which games have corresponding files. Although it may not be immediately clear which items are saves, you can safely copy the entire folder or its contents into a USB drive for backup before reinstalling.

Based on his activities, these files might also be saved in the Documents folder.

Steam is managed by ea. It’s a bit confusing.

The game is large, which is a solid plan.
