Hello, I understand your situation. You're trying to free up space by removing Windows 10 and Lubuntu partitions while keeping the Windows XP partition intact. You're considering using GNOME Partition Editor for this task. Additionally, you thought about using Clonezilla, planning to back up the XP partition, erase the drive, and then restore it. I’d appreciate any advice or experience from others on how to proceed.

EaseUS partition manager works smoothly without much hassle, yet it requires a purchase and is limited to the first device it's installed on—what a disappointment. And Windows XP in 2020? That’s quite outdated!

I'm checking ways to use Clonezila with this Atom-based netbook. @ObsidianAura It's a lightweight system that works with Windows 10, but only if you're willing to wait. XP runs smoothly for me, and it's the only OS compatible with my old scanner. I can run emulators and play media offline. Fun fact—I bought EaseUS Partition Manager for this machine (cheap on Humble Bundle). I installed it to resize partitions, but it froze midway and wiped the drive completely. The licensing issue was another problem too.

I’ll suggest MiniTool Partition Wizard next time. It handles nearly everything for free.
