I installed my 380 at these specifications
1090mhz, 50mv, 1550mhz mem
power limit is 20%
my concern is whether my GPU is at risk? the hottest it gets is around 80°C, but the temperature drops to about 70-75 during the day. The fans never exceed 65%, which worries me because the automatic shutdown happens suddenly.
It seems the heat might be a problem. You might need to lower the GPU speed or adjust the fan manually. The GPU appears fine since you haven't applied excessively high voltages. If things seem odd, reverting to the original settings is usually the safest approach and ensures stability.
Your power limit is significantly insufficient. Are you referring to a +20% increase or merely a 20% reduction?
I believe the issue is related to overheating. I adjusted the fan settings to reach 95% at 80% cpu speed during stress testing, but the temperature keeps going up above 80 degrees. The fans weren't running at high speeds enough to cool the GPU while I overclocked. If it continues to crash—like it did when launching Battlefield—the I’ll reinstall the drivers. My hard drive seems likely to be damaged, probably around 7 years old, since I recently installed it during a build. I plan to install a 1TB drive and keep the old one for media storage. Could there be a problem with the GPU? Is it possible I might have burned it out?
