Lol! Samsung and their questionable benchmark numbers! They believe they can deceive people by manipulating scores on Galaxy phones??! And now they think they can make folks think their 6GB/s SSDs are actually 31GB/s! That’s ridiculous! Though honestly, it’s pretty funny. I nearly jumped out of my seat at those figures and then I thought, “Oh, the 840 Evo is a SATA 6GB/s…”
I got the 840 EVO because it worked out well. I think Samsung’s firmware might have a built-in flaw letting the NSA bypass hardware security. I really dislike Samsung as a company—they’re so short-sighted, greedy, and wasteful. Their Galaxy S3 was just an exception, and they’re too lazy to keep improving beyond that. It shows a lot about what they’re really like.
They made a small mistake in their software after an update, and everyone is reacting strongly. It’s really disappointing.
