Same speed but various part numbers—does it work well?
If it maintains stability at 3200 then it should be okay. Personally, I struggle to keep it stable at that speed using xmp and often have to lower it to 2933. This is with the 4x CMK16GX4M2B3200C16, but two are from Samsung and two from SK Hynix. Even if you purchase identical models, success isn't guaranteed because of variations across different fabs—you might need to adjust manually or push it higher, though it’s not reliable.
It's generally not recommended to manually adjust RAM speeds unless you're comfortable with the process. Always ensure your system is stable before making changes. The Corsair link you mentioned likely provides guidance, but double-check compatibility and safety first.
It all comes down to what you consider safe. XMP works similarly, but instead of you setting a stable configuration, it’s provided by the manufacturer. You can find some RAM speed calculators online to help with that. If you prefer not to overclock and XMP gives you stability, just leave it alone. Just a thought—I’m curious why it displays 1593.3 instead of 1600, but that’s probably just a minor detail. I haven’t used the Corsair app myself, so it seems you might need to double the settings yourself.
