You might try running tests on the board, such as using a 2800MHz CL20-22-22-64, to check if it can boot. If it fails, it’s probably safe to attribute the issue to the board itself.
Updated 19-07-2020: I’m pleased to share that these RAM modules achieved a steady 2666MHz CL13. The 3000MHz CL15 target was abandoned because of platform constraints; CL13 should have been a bit quicker in theory, possibly reaching 2933MHz with an i7. The other board handled up to 3000MHz fine, even beyond that it kept working, but the 3200MHz model from G.Skill had similar problems. That 3000MHz rating is solid!
