Same old micro stutters with Ryzen 9800X3D?
Same old micro stutters with Ryzen 9800X3D?
Please really help me;
1) Avoid posting one after another, particularly the same reply. Improve your message and wait for a response.
2) Don't tag the same person consecutively.
3) I didn't attempt anything you recommended and simply mentioned testing the default settings.
Since I spent time suggesting ways to eliminate possibilities, I'm finished here. Good luck.
Just a casual thought—do you currently use any monitoring tools that track GPU voltage or power? There’s a reported problem on some AMD systems where checking GPU power leads to minor stutters. Usually this happens with Afterburner (since you don’t have Rivatuner installed, it seems unlikely). Others, like HWiNFO, might trigger it even when running in the background. If you have something active, try turning off GPU voltage monitoring and see if that resolves the issue. If not, it’s probably nothing to worry about, though I thought I’d share this as a possible solution from my past experience.
I didn't realize the tagging function worked that way when replying; sorry about that.
I used the Asus software to check the timings, copied them over and adjusted the RAM settings to manual mode.
In addition, I disabled certain options like svm and data scramble.
There were still some improvements, though the jitters are less noticeable now. I plan to continue experimenting with RAM timings and memory training.
I noticed that too, which seems likely for many people, though not for me. However, I observed some enhancements after someone responded.
It's clear that this setup was based on an earlier Windows version. The drivers for the AMD chipset were obtained directly from AMD. The stuttering seems to lessen when all OC adjustments are disabled and the CPU, GPU, and memory operate with standard configurations.
